BOATING, BIKING, CANOEING
Pinewoods' dock is ideal for water ski motorboats. Two bikes are provided, but you provide your own helmets. Better bikes at rental shops nearby. Lots of country roads invite exploration.
GOLF
Golf wasn't invented here, but it may as well have been. So many great courses with superb views of the surrounding hills and lakes.
BRIDGTON
This quaint nearby village offers a variety of stores, restaurants, and cultural attractions like Rufus Porter Museum. Not to be missed!
HIKING, CLIMBING & SIGHTS
Moose Pond is surrounded by mountains and hills with ample trails for getting immersed in the great outdoors. Plus, see a historic covered bridge and its modern descendant.
HORSEBACK RIDING
Farms nearby rent horses for guided tours of the gorgeous Maine countryside.
MAINE COAST & WHITE MTNS.
Just 1 hr. and 20 min. to Portland and coast. Or 2 hrs. to Mt. Washington & its cog railway to the top.
RIVER RAFTING
The Saco River just a few miles away offers a wonderful way to spend a day like the explorers of old who were the first to see these sights.
